Description

An exciting meeting of two jazz musicians born in two different countries: The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

David Lukács (NL) is a clarinet and saxophone player that has been travelling all over the world playing concerts with The Dutch Swing College Band and has performed with international groups and musicians like Scott Hamilton, Howard Alden, Dan Barrett, Harry Allen and Joe Cohn, to name a few. His roots are in the rich tradition of jazz, from New Orleans jazz to the swing of Benny Goodman and on to tenor saxophone legends like Lester Young and Coleman Hawkins.

Jack Kinsella (U.K.) is a very talented guitar player who dives deep in to the tradition of the great jazz guitar players, from Eddie Lang to Barney Kessel and everyone in between. Despite being young he has already gained experience playing in settings from solo to big band with known names like Steve Cardenas, Ruud Breuls, John Marshall and Eric Ineke. Together they bring a very diverse repertoire including songs by James P. Johnson, Artie Shaw, Charlie Parker and Duke Ellington, played in a thrilling way that leaves space for improvising together, exciting specials and distinctive solos!
